Two SPAC IPOs – Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. (MLACU)and Roman DBDR Acquisition Corp. II (DRDBU) – raised a total of $410.0 million on Thursday night, Dec. 12, 2024. (Corrects dollar amount raised by Mountain Lake Acquisition to $210 million – The SPAC IPO was upsized at pricing to 21.0 million units – up from 20.0 million units.)
Both SPAC IPOs are expected to start trading today – Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 – on the NASDAQ.

*Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. (MLACU) upsized its SPAC IPO at pricing to 21.0 million units – up from 20.0 million units in the prospectus – and priced the deal at $10.00 per unit – to raise $210.0 million on Thursday night, Dec. 12, 2024. BTIG LLC was the sole book-runner. Each unit consists of one share of common stock and one right to receive one-tenth (1/10th) of a share of common stock upon consummation of an initial business combination. The Incline Village, Nevada-based SPAC – Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. – is run by CEO Paul Grinberg, who is also the chairman of Axos Financial. Douglas Holick, the SPAC’s CFO, is the founder of Estancia LLC, a strategy and advisory consulting firm. (Incorporated in the Cayman Islands)
*Roman DBDR Acquisition Corp. II (DRDBU) priced 20.0 million units at $10.00 each and raise $200.0 million on Thursday night, Dec. 12, 2024. B. Riley Securities acted as the sole book-runner. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant. This Boca Raton, Florida-based SPAC – Roman DBDR Acquisition Corp. II – is run by Silicon Valley investor Dixon Doll, Jr. Roman DBDR Acquisition Corp. II intends to focus its search on companies in the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (“AI”) or financial technology (“FinTech”) industries. (Incorporated in the Cayman Islands)
