The IPO Buzz: TMD Energy (TMDE) Prices IPO at $3.25 – Low End

TMD Energy Ltd. (TMDE), a marine bunker fuel company based in Malaysia, priced its small IPO at $3.25 – the low end of its $3.25-to-$3.75 range – and sold 3.1 million shares to raise $10.08 million. Shares of TMD Energy opened at $3.26 – up 1 cent from their IPO price – today – Monday, April 21, 2025 – on the NYSE – American Exchange. TMD Energy’s stock closed at $3.63 – up 38 cents or 10.5 percent – on NYSE – American Exchange volume of about 3.53 million shares on Monday (April 21, 2025), amid a steep sell-off in the broad stock market. The Dow dropped nearly 1,000 points – on track for its worst April since 1932 – according to The Wall Street Journal.
