James A. Graf, our CEO, has served as a founder and executive officer or as a director of six special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), including as CEO of Graf Industrial Corp., or Graf I, from June 2018 until the closing of its business combination with Velodyne Lidar, Inc. in September 2020. The three other special purpose acquisition companies for which Mr. Graf served as a founder and executive officer, Global Eagle Acquisition Corp., or Global Eagle, Silver Eagle Acquisition Corp., or Silver Eagle, and Double Eagle Acquisition Corp., or Double Eagle, each completed their initial business combinations in 2013, 2015 and 2017, respectively. Platinum Eagle Acquisition Corp., or Platinum Eagle, for which Mr. Graf served as a non-independent director, completed its initial business combination in 2019. Mr. Graf is also an independent director for Catcha Investment Corp, a special purpose acquisition company focused on the technology industry in Southeast Asia and Australia, which completed its initial public offering in January 2021.
