We intend to focus our search on a range of potential opportunities, including technology-driven, disruptive companies with desirable growth-oriented characteristics as well as on more mature businesses with attractive cash flow characteristics and long-term, sustainable growth profiles.

Douglas  Braunstein is our chairman and president. He is a founder and managing partner of the hedge fund, Hudson Executive Capital. He previously was with J.P. Morgan from  March 1997 to January 2015, where he served as the CFO, as well as the head of Americas Investment Banking and the global  head of  M&A. He played instrumental roles in many significant transactions, including Mars’ acquisition of the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, InBev’s acquisition of Anheuser-Busch, Verizon’s acquisition of MCI, and HP’s acquisition of EDS.

Douglas Bergeron is our CEO. He is a managing partner at Hudson Executive Capital. He previously was the CEO of Verifone from July 2001 through March 2013.

Mr. Braunstein and Mr. Bergeron are co-founders of Hudson Executive Investment Corp. I (HEIC I), a SPAC that completed a $414 million initial public offering in June 2020. On Jan. 13, 2021, HEIC I announced that it had entered into definitive merger agreement with Talkspace, the leading digital and virtual behavioral healthcare company. Mr. Braunstein and Mr. Bergeron also co-founded Hudson Executive Investment Corp. II (HEIC II), a SPAC that completed a $250 million IPO in January 2021.
